An unlined, 3-button jacket that perfectly balances effortless wearability with the refined essence of tailoring. The material used is a medium-weight canvas fabric, carefully woven in Japan and then overdyed. By combining cotton warps with weft threads blended 50:50 with linen and ramie (non-fiber hemp), the fabric achieves a surprising suppleness and drape, despite the characteristic toughness of canvas. A major appeal is the rich, deep, and uneven color unique to overdying. The key to the silhouette lies in the precisely calculated two-piece sleeve cutting. Despite the light, unconstructed (unpadded) and relaxed fit, the beautifully three-dimensional sleeve work creates a modern silhouette that gently follows the body. It features three patch pockets on the front, plain barrel cuffs, and an elegant notched lapel. Natural corozo buttons (nut buttons), dyed to match the main body, elegantly tighten the overall impression. Major seams are beautifully finished with tough flat-felled seams, and the armholes, which bear the most stress and come into contact with the skin, are carefully piped, showcasing a condensed commitment to durability and beauty in unseen areas.
