DESCRIPTION
【Item Details】
A parka made luxuriously from dry waxed cotton from Halley Stevensons, a venerable British company founded in 1864.
While retaining the high windproof and water-repellent properties of traditional waxed cotton, this fabric has a "dry" texture that reduces stickiness, making it a tough garment that can be relied upon in rainy weather or strong winds.
The lining is made of smooth and comfortable Italian cotton poplin, combining functionality with comfort.
The oversized storm hood is meticulously designed. The brim has an internal wire and is reinforced with zigzag stitching, allowing it to be freely adjusted to maintain visibility even in harsh weather.
The front features large pockets with overwhelming storage capacity, deep enough to "comfortably hold a book." By tightening the drawstring on the inside of the waist, the relaxed 3/4 length silhouette can be altered, preventing wind intrusion and allowing for a smart look.
The buttons are made from natural corozo (tagua nut) material, carved in their own factory in the Cotswolds.
Inside, a hand-stamped limited edition serial label is placed, a testament to the craftsmanship of the garment.
