A compact version of the classic "G2 Messenger," designed at half the size.
Created in collaboration with designer Rikiya Matsumura, inspired by the mail carrier bags of the British Post Office (Royal Mail).
The spacious main compartment features a padded laptop sleeve. The front has a three-dimensional bellows pocket, and the high-density woven strap includes a shoulder pad to reduce strain on the shoulder.
The parts feature MAN-TLE's signature meticulous hardware. This includes coated brass snap buttons made in Germany specifically for MAN-TLE, and aluminum strap sliders (adjusters) that are laser-cut in Australia and finished with Jotun powder coating.
The fabric is a water-repellent 100% nylon material that has been heat-treated and highly compressed. Inspired by the traditional technique of boiling "silk chirimen" (crepe silk) used for kimono sashes in seawater to create its unique dimpled texture, this nylon salt-shrink fabric was uniquely developed by a partner factory in Fukui Prefecture.
It possesses a very unique characteristic of being soft in humid environments and maintaining its stiffness in dry environments, with all processes from weaving to finishing carried out consistently in Fukui Prefecture.

Based on the concept of "Heavy Weight Clothing," their products emphasize practicality, creativity, and durability, and are constructed from MAN-TLE's unique fabric called "MAN-TLE Cloth." This fabric is developed in collaboration with family-run factories in Japan's historic weaving regions. The brand name "MAN-TLE" refers to the layer beneath the Earth's crust in English, and is inspired by "physical durability" and "the structural nature of clothing, layered like strata."
