Seventy Five is an artisanal fashion brand founded by Janny Jingyi Ye.
Designed, created and produced in our North London studio.
Seventy Five considers what contemporary Chinese fashion might look like, rooted in the history of Chinese aesthetics. By combining Chinese archival photography, magazines, and illustrations from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as family photographs and oral histories with our own family histories, we express Chinese aesthetics and identity.
Seventy Five embraces the philosophy of slow fashion by using vintage and upcycled fabrics, using their own natural dyes, and ethically sourced materials to create clothes that last - and last as long as the people and memories that inspire them.
