        【Item Details】

        The "DUFFLE TEE," a short-sleeve T-shirt from SAMUEL ZELIG, is inspired by the spray paint, handwork, and custom embroidery that US Navy sailors once applied to their own duffel bags.

        The material is a substantial 7.5 oz American-made heavyweight cotton jersey fabric. It features a sturdy feel while remaining soft to the touch, and a special vintage wash and dye process gives it the appearance of a garment worn for years. The two-tone olive design, which combines slightly different shades of olive for the body and the ribbed neckline, creates a depth brimming with a military aesthetic.

        From the chest and right sleeve to the back of the neck, graphics reminiscent of the sailors' personal lives and travels—including pin-up girls, female portraits, mermaids, and stencil text—are precisely rendered in high-density multi-colored chain stitch embroidery.

        The shirt follows the tough construction of vintage T-shirts, featuring a binder-neck collar and flat-seam construction in key areas. Produced in their Los Angeles studio.
