Corgi Hosiery is a knitwear manufacturer founded in South Wales, UK in 1893.
When the company was founded, coal mining was the main industry in Wales, and the company began producing handmade socks with the desire to provide warm long socks for the workers there.
In 1960, the company began producing hand-framed intarsia knitwear, later adding cashmere, and became recognized by high-end Parisian fashion houses.
In 1988, the company was granted a Royal Warrant after the Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) had been a regular customer of the company's knitwear and socks for 10 years.
While most manufacturers use machines to mass produce, Kogi Hosiery still insists on handcrafting their products.
