Based in Amsterdam. A unisex brand started in 2014 by two best friends, Julia Ma from Canada and Naoyo Kawaguchi from Japan.

The brand name comes from the article "BANANA TIME" published by American sociologist Donald Francis Roy in 1959. This is the theory that taking a short break between work will change your mood and make you feel refreshed, which will improve your work efficiency.
