Founded in 1797, based in present-day New Mill, located along the Rossy River in Elgin, Scotland.
For over 200 years, the Johnston and Harrison families have been involved in the business, creating fabrics, scarves and home furnishings in premium materials such as cashmere, vicuna, merino wool, lambswool and camel hair.
Even today, it is a manufacturer with an integrated production factory, which is rare even in the UK, and handles everything from raw wool to spinning, weaving, and knitting.
