Leather shoes brand based in Berlin, Germany. Growing up in a small village in the mountains of Austria in a family of hunters, designer Matthias Winkler was surrounded by functional and beautiful clothing and leather goods.
After studying art and working as an artist, Matthias Winkler later studied shoe design in London and worked for several brands in Amsterdam, Iceland and Berlin before starting his own brand.
After encountering deadstock materials that had not been used for a long time in Germany and craftsmen who had great skills but had no jobs, we used those materials and some recycled materials to create new products in Berlin. Handmade shoes by shoe craftsmen were born.
His philosophy is "not to get involved in the cycle of the fashion industry that is polluted by overproduction", "to realize long-term relationships with limited stores and customers in a sustainable way".
We are an artistic leather shoe maker that is made by hand one by one.
