Using the history of the sea in New York and the culture of the surrounding canals as a design source, we create authentic sailor clothing and accessories.
All products are designed in a studio in Great South Bay, and depending on the product, printing and embroidery are done in various places in NY.
The brand name OLD SOLDIER comes from the name of a small boat called a playboat that the designer's father built for commuting in 1946.
The process of restoring this playboat, which has become obsolete over the years, has become an important source of brand inspiration for them.
