Founded in 1961 by Mr. John Laresca, the same year that young politician John F. Kennedy became the 35th President of the United States, and that Barack Obama, who would later become the first African-American president, was born in a hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, a small custom-made shirt manufacturer opened in a port town in New Jersey. That company is "INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS."

And to this day, without forgetting its pride in its name (Individualized Shirts = a shirt made just for one person) and its commitment to traditional American shirtmaking, the company has continued to serve as the top share holder of tailored custom shirts in the United States, supplying shirts to numerous celebrities, including past presidents.
