The designer from New Zealand worked in London for about five years before moving to Paris and starting a brand.
The fabric is 50-120 years old in France, and the buttons are mainly old French dead stock.
The design, pattern, sewing, and dyeing (with some exceptions) are all done by hand.
Only natural dyes are used for dyeing, and a minimum dyeing rate is set so that water is not wasted.
His motto is to make each piece slowly, carefully, and at his own pace. Find new value in materials that have been sleeping without being used.
