Jutta Neumann is a New York brand that produces leather sandals and leather accessories handmade by female artisans from Germany. She moved from Paris to New York in the 1980s and trained for six years under Barbara Shaum, who made leather sandals in New York, before going independent and starting her own brand in 1994. All sandals and accessories are still handmade in a New York workshop by Jutta Neumann, her son, and several other artisans.
The arch supports (the bulge in the arch of the foot) are bent by hand one by one, and will conform to your feet with use.
