Starting from the wartime model produced for the 10th anniversary, this 15th anniversary model was completed by adding five years of experience and modern interpretations.
Rather than simply following the first wartime series, which was already highly refined at the time,
By examining the documents once again, the atmosphere and ruggedness that were born out of the unique historical context of wartime were reexamined, and the piece was reconstructed down to the smallest detail from BONCOURA's unique perspective.
The front pocket flaps, one of the characteristics of this era, have been eliminated.
Furthermore, the number of front buttons has been reduced by one compared to the usual number, faithfully reflecting the circumstances of the time when specifications were simplified under material restrictions.

The stitching is mainly yellow with some orange used.
The color scheme evokes the idea that during wartime, when there was no room to use different colors for design purposes, the remaining materials were used up.
The inside of the placket uses the selvedge fabric, a sign of selvedge denim.
The word "indigo" is printed on the back of the pocket to commemorate the 15th anniversary.
The buttons are iron donut buttons designed from scratch specifically for this model.
Based on the concept of simple metal buttons from that time, the design adds a unique BONCOURA interpretation, making it a detail that symbolizes the 15th anniversary model.

The fabric is BONCOURA's original indigo denim, carefully woven on an old-fashioned loom, and the more you wear it, the richer its appearance will become, and over time, it will become a unique piece of clothing.

With his extensive and in-depth knowledge, he also works as a vintage clothing curator. In 2011, he launched his own brand, "BONCOURA."
