Located near the Brittany region in northwestern France, this brand has passed down traditional craftsmanship through four generations for approximately 120 years since its founding in 1890.
BOSABO means "cute clogs" in French.
Clogs were originally worn by European farmers for farm work, and BOSABO's origin also traces back to the first generation, who carved wooden shoes from a fallen tree while moving from farm to farm.
In addition to wooden shoes, which they continued to make exclusively until 1970, the fourth-generation Joël studied at a French shoemaking school and began creating shoes with an emphasis on comfort and as a fashion item, attracting attention from new generations.
