Born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, after studying at INDUSTRIAL DESIGN ACADEMY EINDHOVEN, CAMIEL FORTGENS started his own brand. Look at the shapes, the elements. His unique approach of exploring unisex cuts and reimagining numerous iconic designs is a challenge to the modern copy-and-paste menswear industry. In previous collections, classic white t-shirts and blue jeans were bold and quirky, but over the years the expressions have become more sophisticated. Items that give offbeat expressions to traditional menswear are very CAMIEL FORTGENS-like and easy to wear at the same time. CAMIEL is proud to be a local business in the Netherlands, but at the same time, we always look beyond the fashion industry and are interested in social norms and social conditions, always thinking about what kind of clothes are good for people.
