Corgi Horsey Ltd. is a knitwear manufacturer founded in 1893 in South Wales, England.
At the time of its founding, coal mining was the main industry in the Welsh region, and the company began manufacturing handmade socks for the workers there, who wanted to wear warm long socks.
In 1960, the company began producing hand-framed intarsia knitwear, and later added cashmere material, which was recognized by luxury maisons in Paris.
In 1988, the Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) used the company's knitwear and socks for 10 years, and the company was granted a Royal Warrant (certificate of royal warrant).
While most manufacturers mass produce by machine, Kogi Hoagherie still insists on handmade by craftsmen.
