Handmade pottery from Patagonia.
This color is created by the metallic substances contained in the glaze reacting with the surrounding air. The glaze is made by fermenting Patagonian mountain soil for two to three months. A Japanese woman who traveled to Patagonia in the 1970s began using this technique called raku. It has now been passed down to her disciples.
