These leather sandals feature a design that combines a loop to hold the big toe with a wide leather strap that deeply wraps around the instep.
While having the relaxed feel characteristic of sandals, the two sections securely hold the foot, providing excellent hold and ease of walking.
The black grain leather has a fine grain (unevenness) on its surface, giving it a very tough and expressive texture. It has unique shading and depth not found in smooth leather, and in its austere black tone, it exudes an organic, handcrafted warmth. Scratches and wrinkles are less noticeable, and as you wear them, the leather softens and becomes more pliable, developing a deep, elegant, and beautiful sheen over time.
While the form is minimalist, stripping away all unnecessary elements, the exquisite cutting of the upper that wraps around the foot provides excellent hold, reducing the feeling of instability often associated with mules.
