[OLDMAN'S TAILOR]

OLDMAN'S TAILOR was launched in 2001 by Yuji and Toku Shimura. The company is based in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and originally started as a silk fabric shop in Toku's parents' home. The yarn is produced using the abundant spring water flowing from Mt. Fuji, and the fabric is woven using an old-fashioned shuttle loom. The collection by Mr. and Mrs. Shimura, who are deeply knowledgeable about European antiques and old clothing, is based on traditional British style and has a classic atmosphere, yet has many fans with its modern details and silhouettes.
