HEREU was founded in Spain in 2014 by José Bartolomé and Albert Escribano.

We reinterpret artisanal traditions and crafts, draw inspiration from regional imagination, and fuse visual art, folk tradition and popular culture.
Rooted in Spain's Mediterranean landscape and its diverse lifestyle, HEREU aims to work with local artisans to redefine traditional crafts and to continue transmitting unique techniques as part of the region's heritage.
