A shower sandal-type design with no thumb loop, where a wide single piece of leather holds the instep.
A solid appearance with all unnecessary elements removed.
The "arch support" (the raised part for the arch of the foot), which is synonymous with the brand,
initially features a thick leather sole that feels firm, but as you wear them, it molds to the shape of your foot, transforming into an amazingly snug, exquisite fit.
This is a pair that will truly let you experience firsthand why they are called "the Rolls-Royce of sandals."
The upper, which covers the instep, uses high-quality leather that is tough yet comfortable to break in. As you wear them, they develop a rich patina and beautiful luster, with unique wrinkles etched into them.
The outsole has a built-in Birk sole, providing high cushioning and allowing for long-term use of 10 or 20 years with sole replacements.

Jutta Neumann is a New York-based brand that creates handmade leather sandals and leather accessories by a German-born female artisan. Jutta moved from Paris to New York in the 1980s, trained for six years under Barbara Shaum, who was making leather sandals in New York, and then went independent in 1994 to launch her own brand. Today, all sandals and accessories are still handmade in Jutta Neumann's New York studio by Jutta, her son, and a few artisans.
The individually hand-molded arch support (the bulge for the arch of the foot) will conform to your foot as you wear them.
