NUNATAK製品の大きな特徴として挙げられるのはダウンのキルティング方法。
主に寝袋に使われるボックス構造を採用する事により、通常のダウンジャケットよりも保温性を高めています。
またダウンを封入するのも通常のメーカーは掃除機の逆噴射の様な機械でやるのに対し、NUNATAKではコップでダウンの量を量って手作業で封入するという、ダウン製品を作る上で最も手間のかかる方法で作られています。
