EO는 1995년 캘리포니아에서 블러드 블랙과 수잔 그리핀 블랙에 의해 태어난 브랜드입니다.
아이들을 위해 안심하고 사용할 수 있는 화장품이 주위에 없기 때문에, 그들이 스스로 다루는 것을 생각했습니다.
그 때문에 EO의 제품에는, 성별이나 나이를 불문하고, 가족에서 사용할 수 있는 토탈 케어의 라인 업이 갖추어져 있습니다.

EO는 미국 전역에서 처음으로 화장품으로 NON GMO 인증을 취득한 기업입니다. (2011년 6월에 첫 상품이 등록되었습니다.)
NON GMO는 "유전자 재조합을 하지 않는다"는 의미에서 이 인증을 취득한 회사는 제품에 유전자 재조합 식물을 사용하지 않을 것을 확고히 약속한다.
최근에는 미국의 오가닉 내츄럴 마켓을 중심으로 식품은 물론 화장품에서도 NON GMO를 중요시하는 움직임이 높아지고 있으며, 많은 기업·메이커가 인증을 취득하기에 이르고 있습니다. EO는 시장이 주목하기 전부터 원료의 퀄리티와 안전성에 신념을 가지고 있습니다.

EO was created in California in 1995 by Brad and Susan Griffin Black.
They decided to create their own line of cosmetics because there were no safe products around for children.
EO's product line includes total care products for the whole family, regardless of gender or age. The products are comfortable and soothing, allowing you to casually and deeply experience the appeal of botanicals in your daily life.
EO is the first company in the US to obtain NON GMO certification for cosmetics. (The first products were registered in June 2011.)
NON GMO means "not genetically modified," and companies with this certification are firmly committed to not using genetically modified plants in their products.
