뉴욕에서 출발하는 브랜드. 동명의 책도 출판하고 있는 디자이너 잭 칼슨은 영국의 옥스포드 대학에서 고고학을 공부하는 동시에 보트 경기의 레가타에 박혔습니다.
전통적인 보트 레이스 「Henley Royal Regatta(헨리 로열 레가타)」는 세계 각국의 팀이 다수 참가해, 모두 각각 팀이나 대학의 블레이저를 유니폼으로서 착용해 경기에 참가합니다. 잭 칼슨씨도 그 대회에 참가하고 있어, 회장의 사람들이 보는 블레이저에 흥미를 가지게 되었습니다.
고고학을 전문으로 하는 그들로, 역사에 대한 열정에서 블레이저의 역사를 풀어내고, 스스로 다양한 디자인의 블레이저의 배경을 소개하는 책을 출판했습니다. 그와 동시에 빈티지 블레이저에 기울여 가서 자신의 브랜드를 시작하기에 이르렀습니다.

The brand originated in New York. Designer Jack Carlson, who has also published a book of the same name, studied archaeology at Oxford University in England and at the same time devoted himself to rowing regattas.
