HEREU was founded in Spain in 2014 by José Bartolomé and Albert Escribano.

Reinterpreting artisan traditions and crafts, HEREU draws inspiration from the local imagination and blends visual arts, folk traditions, and popular culture.
Rooted in Spain's Mediterranean landscape and its diverse lifestyle, HEREU hopes to redefine traditional crafts with local artisans, and to transmit the one-of-a-kind skills as a regional heritage all along.
