영어로 「아름다운」을 의미하는 「Beautiful」과 호주의 속어에서 「무골인 인간」을 의미하는 「Bogan」을 조합한 조어.

Christopher Hancy와 Miko Okamura Hancy의 둘이서 2017년 4월에 BEAUGAN을 시작한다. Based in JAPAN.
Christopher는 호주에서 법률과 미술을 배운 후, 고향을 떠나 앤트워프의 왕립 예술 아카데미에. 디자이너 월터 밴 베이렌돈크에서 패션 디자인을 배웁니다. 그 후, 크리스챤 디올이나 테드 라피도스 등 메종에서의 오뜨 꾸뛰르 현장 경험이 있는 가키타 유키오씨에게 사사하고 거점을 일본으로 옮긴다.
한편, 일반 기업에서의 근무 경험을 가진 Miko Okamura는 젊어서 회사를 그만두고 패션 디자인 공부를 위해 바다를 건넜다. 센트럴 세인트 마틴스의 단기 코스에서 런던 컬리지 오브 패션과 스텝을 쌓아 올려, 「서스테인블한 패션 디자인」을 요구 일본에 귀국. BEAUGAN의 프로젝트에 참여한다.

Coined from the English word "Beautiful" meaning "beautiful" and the Australian slang word "Bogan" meaning "martial man".
Christopher Hancy and Miko Okamura Hancy launched BEAUGAN in April 2017.
Christopher studied law and art in Australia before leaving his hometown to attend the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. He studied fashion design under designer Walter van Beirendonck. He then moved to Japan to study under Yukio Kakita, who had worked in haute couture maisons such as Christian Dior and Ted Lapidus.
On the other hand, Miko Okamura, who had worked in the corporate world, quit her job at a young age and went abroad to study fashion design. After taking a short course at Central Saint Martins and then the London College of Fashion, she returned to Japan in search of "sustainable fashion design" and joined the BEAUGAN project.
