ARPENTEUR는 “현대의 전통적인 프렌치 스포츠웨어”를 컨셉으로 내걸고, 로란트 보벤과 마크 아세리의 사촌 형제 2명의 손에 의해 2011년에 프랑스 리옹에서 탄생.
2명의 고향이기도 한 리옹에서 아직 남는, 전통적인 기술을 지키는 공장에서 생산을 일관함으로써 품질 관리를 철저히 하고, 또한 원단 등도 오리지날로 개발. 화려함이나 강한 디자인은 없지만, 스탠다드인 아이템 중에는 곳곳에 구애가 막혀 있어, 그들 모두는 프랑스의 패션 문화에 대한 큰 경의의 표정이다.
