수중에도 슬릿이 들어간 두께 5mm의 박판에, 수중에도 돌려 둘러싸인 가는 로프. 따뜻함이 있는 소재감과 심플한 구성이면서도, 프레임의 형태와 로프의 교차의 상태에 의해, 독창적이고 쿨한 표정을 보이는 「LAFABLIGHT(라파브라이트)」는, 2021년에 프랑스에서 탄생한 새로운 브랜드.

메이드 인 프랑스를 고집, 소재는 파리에서 서쪽으로 200km 정도 떨어진 숲에 서식하는 나라, 포플러, 너도밤 나무 등의 나무에서 제재. 미묘한 텐션을 조정하면서 조립해 갈 필요가 있기 때문에, 조립이나 실의 뜨개질에 관해서는, 국내의 가구 공방이 하나하나 수작업으로 정중하게 완성하고 있습니다.
쉐이드는 5개의 기본형으로 이루어지지만, 복잡한 기하학 무늬와 같이 실의 배열 패턴을 바꾸는 것으로, 전 60 패턴이 갖추어지는 라파브라이트. 조명을 켤 때와 지울 때 실루엣이 변화. 또한 보는 각도에 따라 다양한 표정을 보여주는 것도 특징입니다.

A 5mm-thick laminate with multiple slits and thin ropes stretched in layers. LAFABLIGHT, a new brand born in France in 2021, has a warm material feel and a simple structure, but the shape of the frame and the way the ropes intersect give it an original and cool expression.

The brand is committed to "Made in France," and its materials are milled from oak, poplar, beech, and other trees that live in a forest about 200 km west of Paris. Since it is necessary to adjust the tension delicately as they are assembled, the assembly and weaving of the threads are carefully done by hand, one by one, by furniture workshops in Korea.
Although the shade consists of five basic shapes, Lafabrite is available in a total of 60 patterns by changing the pattern of thread arrangement like a complex geometric pattern. The silhouette changes when the light is turned on and off. It also features looks depending on the angle from which it is viewed.
