EOは1995年にカリフォルニアで、ブラッド・ブラックとスーザン・グリフィン・ブラックによって生まれたブランドです。
子どもたちのために安心して使える化粧品がまわりにないことから、彼らが自分たちで手がけることを考えました。
そのためEOの製品には、性別や年齢を問わず、家族で使えるトータルケアのラインナップが揃います。日常においてさりげなく、そしてしみじみと植物の魅力を実感できるような、心地よいものばかりです。
EOは、アメリカ全土で初めて化粧品でNON GMOの認証を取得した企業です。（2011年6月に最初の商品が登録されました。）
NON GMOとは「遺伝子組み換えをしていない」という意味で、この認証を取得している会社は、製品に遺伝子組み換え植物を使用しないことを固く約束しています。
近年では、アメリカのオーガニック・ナチュラルマーケットを中心に、食品はもちろん化粧品でもNON GMOを重要視する動きが高まっており、多くの企業・メーカーが認証を取得するに至っています。EOは、市場が注目する前から、原料のクオリティと安全性に信念を持っているのです。

EO was created in California in 1995 by Brad and Susan Griffin Black.
They decided to create their own line of cosmetics because there were no safe products around for children.
EO's product line includes total care products for the whole family, regardless of gender or age. The products are comfortable and soothing, allowing you to casually and deeply experience the appeal of botanicals in your daily life.
EO is the first company in the U.S. to obtain NON GMO certification for cosmetics. (The first products were registered in June 2011.)
NON GMO means "not genetically modified," and companies with this certification are firmly committed to not using genetically modified plants in their products.
