This brand started in 2013 on the South Shore of Long Island, NY.
We create authentic sailor wear and accessories using New York's maritime history and the culture of the surrounding canals as design sources.
All of our products are designed in our studio in the Great South Bay and printed and embroidered in locations throughout New York.
The brand name OLD SOLDIER comes from the name of a small boat called a playboat that the designer's father had built in 1946 for commuting.
The process of restoring this playboat, which has aged over the years, has become an important source of inspiration for their brand.
