BERTEIL is a hat specialty house founded in Saint-Augustin, Paris in 1840 by Alfred Berteil. From top hats to caps and bowler hats, its elegant hats captivated the European courts, elites, politicians, and high society of the time. The young Italian Giuseppe Borsalino also trained at the house, laying the foundation for launching his own brand. Currently with two stores in Paris, one in Madeleine on the Right Bank and the other in Solferino on the Left Bank, the house has continued to listen to its customers for over 180 years, providing sophisticated styles that keep up with the times.
