Hand-knitted by skilled artisans in the UK, the Gansey is a modern reinterpretation of the traditional sweater worn by sea fishermen.
Made from high-quality superfine merino lambswool, it features a deep North Sea blue hue.

The knit is hand-knitted in a traditional pattern found on fishermen's sweaters, and the ribbed collar and cuffs give it a classic look while also providing warmth.

Started by Paul Vincent and Sara Kelly in the UK in 2009, the brand is committed to using only the finest fabrics and buttons in its products.
The collection is made in the British Isles (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the islands in the North Atlantic).
Fabrics and materials are sourced from a wide selection of excellent local mills and cooperatives, including a tweed factory dating back to the 1700s, the country's only surviving horn button maker,
Cashmere, wool and tweed are sourced from various parts of the British Isles, including family-run businesses in the English Midlands.
Additionally, items are made in workrooms and factory specialty stores.
