Initially, the thick leather sole feels stiff, but as you wear them, they mold to the shape of your foot, transforming into an astonishingly snug, superb fit.

Jutta Neumann is a New York-based brand that produces handmade leather sandals and leather accessories by a German female artisan. She moved from Paris to New York in the 1980s, trained for six years under Barbara Shaum, who made leather sandals in New York, and then became independent in 1994 to start her own brand. The sandals and accessories are still handmade in Jutta Neumann and her son's workshop in New York, along with a few other artisans.
The arch support (instep bulge), which is bent by hand one by one, molds to your foot as you use it.
