DESCRIPTION
【Item Details】
A lightweight cotton cardigan in a pale yellow base, accented with red and green stripes.
Fish appliqués on the front pocket add a somewhat idyllic and playful touch.
The back features a "Tangerine Queens, New York City" graphic, subtly incorporating BODE's signature narrative into a nostalgic atmosphere.
Its light material and soft color palette make it comfortable to wear, perfect as a standalone piece or layered over other garments.
【BODE】
A menswear brand by female designer Emily Adams Bode, based in Manhattan, NY.
BODE crafts classical and eye-catching workwear silhouettes using a wide variety of antique and unique textiles.
With degrees in both Philosophy and Menswear Design, Emily became the first female menswear designer to present a collection at New York Fashion Week Men's less than a year after establishing her brand in 2016.
During her studies, Emily honed her skills in sourcing and processing historical and rare fabrics from around the world, eventually mastering the art of repurposing them.
Her collections are lovingly created piece by piece, using diverse fabrics such as century-old tablecloths, burlap sacks, Victorian-style bedsheets, and antique quilts.
This appreciation for historical patterns and fabrics originated from Emily's childhood vacations spent in Massachusetts and Atlanta.
