The "PANTALON D'ALPAGE" trousers from MAISON DOUILLET reconstruct elements of traditional workwear and mountain pastoral culture, rooted in the heritage and harmony with nature originating in the French Alps.
This piece belongs to the "L'Alpage" (Alpine pasture) series, inspired by workwear capable of withstanding the harsh environments of mountainous regions. It is finished in a "DEEP BROWN" color, evoking a sense of depth and composure, resulting in a rustic yet sophisticated aesthetic.
The material used is 100% Merino wool Loden cloth, woven by the prestigious Austrian mill Liechtfried. The densely fulled fabric boasts excellent wind resistance and durability, possessing a substantial, robust feel while remaining supple.
The waist follows classical trouser specifications, with organic cotton poplin from the French company Telatex used for pocket and waist linings to ensure a comfortable fit. Every detail in material selection is consistent with tradition, such as the use of natural buffalo (Ram Horn) buttons from the French company Brochot. This is a product of reliable quality, manufactured by skilled artisans in a Paris, France atelier.
