The yarn is made from extra-long staple cotton that has been carefully selected after repeated testing, and spun into Fil Melange's own yarn count. This is then used by a top-class knitter in Wakayama, a region famous for its circular knitting, to create a jersey made on a custom-made knitting machine. The smooth feel of the extra-long staple cotton, the way the stitches are raised on the custom-made knitting machine, and the fine adjustment of the stitch count combine to create the ultimate comfort.

[FilMelange]
A top quality cut and sew brand that started with the 2007 Fall/Winter collection. "FilMelange" is a coined word that combines the words "Fil" (yarn) and "Melange" (mixed color). With the three keywords of "lightness, warmth, and softness," the brand continues to create products with as simple an idea as possible that does not go against the laws of nature. They actively incorporate organic materials, use 100% cotton thread for all seams, and continue to produce fabrics with conviction and pride using a "loop-knitting machine" that has been around since the 1950s and is one of only a few in Japan.
