【Corgi】
Corgi Hosiery is a knitwear manufacturer founded in 1893 in South Wales, UK.
At the time of its establishment, coal mining was the main industry in Wales, and the company began manufacturing handmade socks with the desire to provide warm long socks for the miners working there.
From 1960, they began producing hand-framed intarsia knitwear, later adding cashmere materials, which gained recognition from luxury Parisian fashion houses.
Then, in 1988, Prince Charles was granted a Royal Warrant for his 10 years of loyal patronage of their knitwear and socks.
While most manufacturers mass-produce with machines, Corgi Hosiery still prides itself on handmade craftsmanship.
