DESCRIPTION
【Item Details】
These cargo pants are a reimagining of vintage military pants, reconstructed with HERILL's unique materials and patterns.
The herringbone twill (HBT) frequently used by the U.S. military around the 1940s is deliberately rendered in 100% linen.
This heavy linen is woven at the highest possible density. The distinctive herringbone pattern of HBT clearly emerges, giving it a substantial feel unlike linen, yet possessing the luster and refreshing quality unique to linen. With repeated wear and washing, the unevenness of the herringbone will become more pronounced, developing a vintage-like "fade" and a smooth, flowing drape.
【HERILL】
A unisex brand launched in Autumn & Winter 2019 by designer Hiroyuki Oshima, who, after graduating from Bunka Fashion College, gained experience in planning for designer brands and major select shops.
The brand name is a portmanteau of Heritage (inherited culture, history, legacy, tradition) and Will (future, prospects).
The brand aims to create genuinely interesting products by developing new material concepts with traditional factories, backed by Japan's highest level of technology and experience.
