Tuffa Boots was founded in Norfolk, England in 1997 by Michelle Girling. Founder Michelle Girling has been involved in the equestrian industry for 40 years, and utilizes that experience to create boots that are unique in design and easy to put on and take off.

One of the attractions is that it is low-priced and high-quality even though it is made in Europe, and is currently being deployed in the UK, Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
The main users are jockeys, trainers, equestrians such as veterinarians, and also used as tools by professionals such as farmers. All new models for horse riding are tested by active riders and Michelle himself, and are commercialized assuming actual competitions.
