DESCRIPTION
【Item Details】
A classic brand jacquard sock featuring a motif inspired by the hands from Auguste Rodin’s sculpture "La Cathédrale."
The design utilizes an advanced technique of intentionally using the reverse side of the knit, which gives the contours of the pattern and the yarn floats a subtle, three-dimensional effect.
Achieved through trial and error with the factory, this construction creates a unique texture and a warm aesthetic not found in standard jacquard knitting.

A knitwear brand founded by designer Kota Gushiken.
Gushiken is a graduate of the BA Fashion Knitwear course at Central Saint Martins (CSM).
During his studies, he interned at the couture department of Dior and Proenza Schouler. His CSM graduate collection was selected as one of the "Top 6 Central Saint Martins BA Graduates of 2016" by The Business of Fashion. He officially launched his own brand, Kota Gushiken, starting with the 2019 Autumn/Winter season.
