Sanders & Sanders Ltd. was established in Rushden in 1873 by brothers William Sanders and Thomas Sanders, and has a history of about 135 years.
The company employs more than 90 craftsmen in the fourth generation of family management.
Although it is now supplemented with production machinery and advanced computer control systems, the traditional Goodyear welt manufacturing method is still taken over, and the commitment to materials remains the same, using natural materials for most of the parts. .
As a proof of that, we have obtained the IS09002 Assurance authorization, which is given only to a few manufacturers in the field of the British shoe industry.
We export our products to over 30 countries and territories as well as supplying the UK market.
Especially the Sanders Uniform Footwear Collection is famous as a collection that is used as shoes for many police, military and security around the world.
In addition, most of the leather shoes (made in the UK) supplied to the British Ministry of Defense (MOD) are made by Sanders (a very large concession) and about 50% of the factory is allocated as the production line.
For that reason, Sanders is able to manufacture traditional Made in England shoes with excellent cost performance by keeping manufacturing costs down even if the company's collection uses the same Goodyear welt manufacturing method and natural materials as other Northampton manufacturers.
