INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS is one of the few tailor-made shirt manufacturers born in America that continues to uphold the traditional shirt-making of yesteryear.
Founded in 1961 by Mr. John Laresca.
The 1960s in America was an era when individuals (individualized) stood up and asserted themselves against the nation, starting with the Civil Rights Movement and student movements, followed by women's movements and anti-Vietnam War movements.
All of America was moving towards a new future, filled with energy.
In 1961, the young politician J.F. Kennedy became the 35th President of the United States, and in the same year, Barack Obama, who would later become the first black president, was born in a hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. In a certain port town in New Jersey, a small custom-made shirt specialty manufacturer opened for business. That was "INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS Inc.".
The history of menswear in America began with tailors, immigrants from Europe, making clothes. Later, Brooks Brothers ushered in an era of mass-produced ready-to-wear clothing.

And to this day, proud of its name (Individualized Shirts = shirts that exist only for one person) and without forgetting the traditional American trad shirt-making, it has carved out over 50 years of history, providing shirts to many celebrities, including successive presidents, as the top share holder of tailored custom shirts in the United States.
