ARPENTEUR was founded in Lyon, France in 2011 by two cousins, Laurent Boven and Marc Assery, with the concept of "modern traditional French sportswear."
They ensure strict quality control by consistently producing their products in factories that still preserve traditional techniques in Lyon, the couple's hometown, and also develop original fabrics. Although the designs are not flashy or bold, their standard items are packed with attention to detail, all of which is a sign of their great respect for French fashion culture.
