These easy pants combine practicality for relaxed, effortless wear with the brand's aesthetic sensibility.
The material used is a medium-weight canvas fabric, meticulously woven in Japan and then overdyed. By blending cotton for the warp with a 50:50 mix of linen and ramie (bast fiber) for the weft, the fabric achieves the toughness characteristic of canvas while offering surprisingly supple, drapey texture. A major appeal is the deep, uneven, and rich color depth unique to overdyed fabrics.
The waist features an elastic drawstring for stress-free comfort. Meanwhile, the front is equipped with a vintage-style "WALDES zipper fly" and belt loops, making these easy pants versatile enough to achieve a refined tucked-in look.
Practical details such as large slash pockets on the sides and elegant welt pockets that create a clean back silhouette are also meticulously crafted.
