—Brand concept—
A coined word combining "Beautiful", which means "beautiful" in English, and "Bogan", which means "a rugged person" in Australian slang.

Christopher Hancy and Miko Okamura Hancy launched BEAUGAN in April 2017. Based in Japan.
After studying law and art in Australia, Christopher left his hometown to attend the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Studied fashion design under designer Walter van Beirendonk. After that, he studied under Yukio Kakita, who has experience in haute couture at Maisons such as Christian Dior and Ted Lapidus, and moved his base to Japan.
On the other hand, Miko Okamura, who has experience working in a general company, left the company at a young age and crossed the ocean to study fashion design. After completing a short-term course at Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion, she returned to Japan in search of "sustainable fashion design." Participate in the BEAUGAN project.
