Inspired by the pottery of the Cycladic Islands in the Aegean Sea, the motifs are screen-printed and then meticulously hand-embroidered onto the fabric.
The layering of different techniques, print and embroidery, creates a rich texture and a warm, inviting finish.

A brand created by Bapan Dutta from India and Lucie Bourreau from France.
The brand name, "mii," stands for "made in India," and the two "I"s represent the meeting of two countries, the meeting of two designers, and the precious encounter between you and I (Mii).
The designs are created in Paris, while all weaving, printing, and embroidery are done by hand in Kolkata, India. By leveraging the globally renowned textile traditions of both countries, the brand continues to create new and innovative pieces.
