A shower sandal-type design with no toe loop, where a wide, single piece of leather holds the instep.
A solid appearance with all unnecessary elements stripped away.
The "arch support" (the raised part of the arch of the foot), which can be considered the brand's signature, initially feels like a stiff, thick leather sole, but as you wear it, it sinks to conform to the shape of your sole, transforming into an incredibly snug, custom fit.
This is a pair that truly allows you to experience firsthand why they are called the "Rolls-Royce of sandals."
The upper, which covers the instep, uses tough yet comfortable high-quality leather. As you wear them, they develop a rich patina and beautiful luster, and unique wrinkles will be etched into them.
The outsole has a built-in Birk sole, providing high cushioning. With proper sole replacement, they can be loved and worn for 10 or 20 years.

Jutta Neumann is a New York-based brand that creates leather sandals and leather accessories, handmade by a German-born female artisan. After moving from Paris to New York in the 1980s, she trained for six years under Barbara Shaum, who made leather sandals in New York, before becoming independent in 1994 and launching her own brand. Today, Jutta Neumann, her son, and several artisans continue to handcraft all sandals and accessories in their New York workshop.
The arch support (the raised part of the arch of the foot), which is bent by hand one by one, will mold to your foot with continued use.
