A shower sandal-type design with no toe loop, where a wide single piece of leather holds the instep.
A solid appearance with all unnecessary elements removed.
The "arch support" (raised arch), which is synonymous with the brand,
initially feels like a stiff, thick leather sole, but as you wear it, it molds to the shape of your foot, transforming into an incredibly snug and comfortable fit.
This is a pair that allows you to truly experience why it's called "the Rolls-Royce of sandals."
The upper covering the instep uses high-quality leather that is both tough and comfortable. As you wear them, they develop a rich character and beautiful luster, and wrinkles unique to the wearer are etched into them.
A Birkenstock sole is built into the outsole, providing high cushioning and allowing for 10 or 20 years of long-term use with sole replacements.

Jutta Neumann is a New York-based brand that produces handmade leather sandals and leather accessories by a German female artisan. She moved from Paris to New York in the 1980s, trained for six years under Barbara Shaum, who made leather sandals in New York, and then became independent in 1994 to start her own brand. Sandals and accessories are still all handmade in Jutta Neumann's New York workshop by her, her son, and a few artisans.
The arch support (the bulge in the arch of the foot), which is bent by hand one by one, molds to your foot with use.
