These leather sandals are based on JUTTA NEUMANN's iconic "ALICE" model, updated with a square toe.
They feature a thong design for the big toe and a wide leather strap that wraps deeply around the instep.
The high level of hold prevents the "heel lifting sensation" common with sandals, resulting in a design optimized for walking.
The brand's signature "arch support" (raised arch) is initially made from a thick leather sole that feels firm, but with wear, it molds to the shape of your foot, transforming into an amazingly snug and exceptional fit.
These shoes truly allow you to experience firsthand why they are called the "Rolls-Royce of sandals."
The upper covering the instep is made of high-quality leather that is tough yet conforms well to the foot. With wear, it develops a deep character and beautiful luster, engraving wrinkles unique to the wearer.
The outsole incorporates a Birk sole, providing high cushioning and allowing for sole replacement, ensuring these shoes can be cherished for 10 or 20 years.

Jutta Neumann is a New York-based brand that produces handmade leather sandals and leather accessories by a German-born female artisan. Jutta Neumann moved from Paris to New York in the 1980s, trained under Barbara Shaum, who made leather sandals in New York, for six years, and then established her own brand in 1994. The sandals and accessories are still all handmade in Jutta Neumann's New York workshop by her, her son, and a few other artisans.
The arch support (the raised part of the arch), which is bent by hand one by one, molds to your foot with use.
